The original greatest racer of them all! Only recently been shoadowed by Super Mario Kart DS.

Now I am one to get ultimately frustrated at racing games because I either spin-off course way to ofter, other cars seem to speed ahead of me too easily or mainly I just really don't like racing. But Super Mario Kart changed that all for me I would never spin-off course because the controls were perfect, if a car sped ahead of me I would use a mushroom and put some distance between us, this game had Mario in it so I was bound to like it. This is your basic racing game in all with extras there are a decent amount of races to be raced and cups to be won, there is also an added battle mode for multiplayer. The controls are perfect for the fact you can stay on the track while speeding along. The 3dfx chip works well with the game but it leaves very rough edges. The sounds are very good and the amount to play here is a decent amount to be played. This is a definitive game in racing game history it will never be forgotten.
