The second Mario Land is an excellent addition to the Mario universe.

when I bought this game it was part of the Nintendo classics range, I can see why. When I switched the game on it was amazing what my (not so) little Game Boy Classic could do. You are the world best American-Italian plumber who has returned to his home in Mario Land where Mario has his own castle which he has been locked out of by his old childhood friend Wario. To solve the problem of his castle and land being taken Mario has to travel into six different areas to retrieve the Six Golden Coins to unlock the castle gates and then confront Wario. This game is almost as easy to control as Super Mario Land but there are small minor things that take perfection away. The graphic did not get much better on the old Game Boy and neither did the sound. The game is easy to complete and short so it is not real a super valued game. This is great Mario game and could fight some games off today.
