With all the Mario games out there, you really shouldn't waste your time with this old Mario handheld game.

Super Mario land two is basically the same side scrolling adventure that Mario fans know and love from the NES, SNES, and GB systems. Although it is a worthy title to play, it just really doesn't deliver that well. Mainly, it's very short and quite easy despite the showdown level between you and Wario at the end of the game, who happens to be the villian of this title. Basically, Wario has taken over Mario land and it's up to you, Mario, to bring it back.

Super Mario land two starts off basic. You start off in a very easy level and then your open up to the whole Mario land. Basically, you have to go to various levels, such as a huge tree, and go through variousl levels until you get to a boss level. Once you do, you take on a very simple boss by bonking him on the head three times and then you win. Do this for about three to five hours and you've finished this game, with no multiplayer.

Super Mario land two does have some cool concepts, such as how Mario can get fireballs, fly and even swim, but these aren't really new concepts, since there in about every Mario game. Seriously, Super Mario land two is very easy and short, I just can't stress that enough. Plus the graphics are super outdated, there's not even colors and everything looks super bland and boring to look at. You do have a time limit on each level, so don't hang around to long.

I also didn't care for the music. It's super generic with no voice acting. There are some good things in this game, for starters, it's a nice side-scrolling adventure, something that Mario is famous for. But even with this though, you shouldn't play this outdated game that is over a decade old, there's lots of other great Mario side-scrolling games that's out.
