First of all im not even a soccer fan but this game offers The selectable captains are Nintendo characters: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Peach, Yoshi, Waluigi, and Wario (and one unlockable team). The sidekicks that fill out your team are either Koopas, Birdos, Toads, or Hammer Bros. But you probably would just give the ball to your teams captain to unleash superstrike abilities that are worth two goals as opposed to a measly but you can earn power-ups with your sidekicks, which you can unleash at any time on the pitch. Gameplay offers alot on both sides of the game, Offense is turbo-charged speed gives you an option to score points the way you want. Defence side of the ball have an super tackle and the slide tackle to steal the ball away from your opponent, it's really affective to use and will give you a better chance to winning games with turnovers.Super Mario Strikers is an enjoyable game, especially in multiplayer, where up to four players can battle it out in any combination of matchups (two-on-two, three-on-one, or four player co-op). With a number of tournament cups to win, variable difficulty levels, and a decent number of unlockable prizes. This is a great game for your collection an its fun to play with or without your friends.
