Goal! Super Mario Strikers, only for Nintendo Gamecube. This highly addictive game brings back your favorite Nintendo characters to play the number one sport in the world, soccer. The game mixes the game of soccer with the weapons of Mario Kart, a weird combination that works extremely well. Between the shells, bombs, bananas, and the electrified perimeter of the field, you actually play a little soccer. This game allows anyone to sit down and play a fun game of combat soccer without worrying about complex mechanics associated with more realistic soccer games. This game is simple, which is also one of its drawbacks. The cup challenges get old pretty quickly so unless you are going to play against someone else, you might want to rent this title. There are no mini-games in this game to increase the replay value. I know it is not Mario Party, but common, throw me a freaking bone. That being said, the graphics, controls, and sound are phenomenal. Basically, buy this game if you have others to play against. Otherwise, it is merely a rental.
