Not only a great arcade soccer game, but probably the best Mario Sports title.

There's golf, tennis, baseball, kart racing, and now soccer. It was about time, wasn't it? All you need to know about 'Super Mario Strikers' is that it's one of the best Mario games to be ever come out of Nintendo's dark and eerie chambers. Whether you're playing exhibition mode, or Cup Mode, all you need to know is that this game is awesome. You can either go for the Trophies, or you can play exhibitions alone, or with friends (the last one is a lot more fun). There are cheats, stadiums, and a secret team to unlock. And what would a Mario game be without those crazy items? You can customize your game with or without items (either way, it's extremely fun). The characters are modeled nicely, and they all yell different things. Although they don't have many different phrases, it's still entertaining to hear. It's always funny to hear Wario yelling out for the pass, "Hey, Stupid!" Pick up this title without delay; it's fun, it's entertaining, and it even has its fair share of comedic moments in it (like when Waluigi scores and immediately does the Suck It sign).
