This game really doesn't seem to have been marketed or presented to the gaming world as the latest and greatest mario for the the game cube. It truly was superior to Mario 64 in every way and is the proper growth. It included all kinds of fun to use water packs and brought about all kinds of new game mechanics along with that. Many aspects of this game seem to have been adapted into mario galaxy very well and in a very enjoyable way. In all honesty I enjoyed this more than mario galaxy. The levels were filled with original content and with bonus type levels that would mimic old style mario game's presentation and used present day mario to take these tasks on . This was holding true to the old style mario far better than the other 3d marios. It really should not be over looked at all.
