The game that set Mario into the 16 Bit era, great game nonetheless
The Story is as follows: Mario and Luigi, along with the Princess are visiting Dinosaur Island to see Yoshi. The Princess is captured and the yoshis are imprisoned in eggs. Mario and his bro Luigi must set things straight with the Koopa King once again.
Mario Traverses through a beautiful world of amazing stuff. The world map is highly detailed (remember it was on SNES). Mario found himself jumping through masterfully designed levels, full of mysteries and wonders, and questions. Secret Exits were a major part of level exploration. These very well hidden passages compels players to think like Miyamoto. "If I were Miyamoto..." often popped up in my head while I went through red dotted levels looking for exits many times.
Mario got some new tricks as well. A spinning jump could wide out certain enemies in a fatal blow. Mario could use the Yoshis to rid his path of enemies by making Yoshi swallow them. And Mario could fly with the cape power up, another new ability for Mario
Mario World is Mario platforming at its peak. A great game adored by many a nintendo fan, a recommendation for any Mario enthusiast
