One of the best Mario games to date, an instant classic, with Yoshi's first appearance.

If you consider yourself a Nintendo gamer, you'll probably have played this game before, or the game boy advance version. This game is an instant classic, a masterpiece. This is the first game that includes Yoshi, who later was made into other NES and SNES games. Basically, Bowser kidnapped the Princess and you have to go through his 7 Koopa Kids to get to him. What a wimp!



This carries the same game formula that was in Super Mario Bros., and Super Mario Bros. 3. The types of levels range from the usual grassy fields, underground caves, the seas, and sky, to even weirder stages. The stages have ridiculous names, like Donut Plains, Vanilla Dome, Cheese Bridge, Soda Lake, Chocolate Island, Star Road, and even weirder levels like Gnarly, Tubular, and around 6 more.

Graphics: 9/10
Music: 10/10

In all, one of the best games I have ever played!
