The first Mario-game on the SNES and it blew me away!

Super Mario World was the first Mario-game on the SNES and had to maintain the high level of platforming that was set on the NES with the Super Mario Bros. series. Did they do the trick? Hell yes!

The most important aspect of a Mario-game is the platform-gameplay. There is just no other game which can be compared with Mario. And therefore the gameplay is just perfect and there are just no other for it.

Super Mario World was the first game that was developed for the SNES and therefore not graphically stunning. Not that it’s ugly, just not as good-looking as most SNES that were released in the years after. The sound is good. Nothing more, nothing less.

Super Mario World is the first and the best platform game that was released on the SNES and if you haven’t played this one, then I really don’t understand what the hell you’re waiting for!
