I would like to state that i DO NOT PLAY/LIKE games that require a controller. This game made me changed my view.

Just like i said before i am no fan of non-keyboard controls, neither am i a fan of 2D super Mario style games. i decided to try this game to see (again) the difference between keyboard control and joystick controller. hoping that at the end i would be rooting for the keyboard ofc. after 1 hour of sloppy jumps and missed attempts at jumping from wall to wall, really frustrated at all the fuss the community was making about this game i switched over to the controller. magic happened. it was beyond words. the level of control (even in the hands of the unbeliever) was incredible. i was playing like a pro, making jumps that previously seemed impossible.
but back to the game, it is a short, fast paced loony game. it offers a great variety of characters to play each with their own "superpowers". add on top of that enough levels each with it's own unique design, traps and you have yourself a game that brings back the essence of arcade gaming.
i haven't played for a long long time a game that gave me that 16 bit feeling. it was really really nice.
