Super Metroid is one of the best 2D games of all time
Story
The story is Samus Aran is sent to the Research Facitly where there is one Metroid there but soon sees Ridley and you battle him. After a while Ridley flies off and Samus has to escape the facility and find the Metroids in the Space Colony.
Gameplay
When you play you you can run fast fire bullets. You get power ups in the areas to help you progress further into the game as well such as a Charge Beam,Speed Booster,bombs grappling beam and more. There Exspansions which help you carry more firepower and energy. You come across different suits in the game which can give you the ability to walk faster underwater. There are loads of exspansions in the game and it has plenty of secrets. There are some enemies in the game that can only be defeated by using a certain item.
Sound
It has amazing music it makes the game more epic and more of an experience. It seems to work well with areas of the areas.
Graphics
While this was released on the SNES its graphics at that time were some of the best. The areas look well designed.
Overall opinion
From the moment you play this game you have to realise how big the game is and you have to understand for its time this was considered a huge game. It is simply incredible. It has awesome music,graphics and secrets.
