Super Metroid has great graphics, great gameplay, and great handling. But there are a few glaring issues. First, it is frustratingly difficult to progress in the game. The game has many inconsisintcies which cause this to be so. For instance, to get to a certain item you must shoot a certain wall. But you would never know it because the room behind the wall does not show up on the map. So in order to progress through the game you need to shoot every damn pixel in the game's entirety. And thats not all. Sometimes you will try to find items, and, in doing so destroy a floor. The fall is so big that you will need to wall jump in order to progress through the game. But the walljumping is broken as a busted fence. Also, the bosses are way too easy. I beat every boss in less than 2 tries. Its a great game but the glaring problems prevent it from getting a perfect score.
