Easy to see how good it was 10 years ago but if you have played Metroid Fusion, this is an inferior game in comparison.

I enjoied my time with Super Metroid, I just expected more of it which old classic games are now subject to after better more successful sequels. Metroid Fusion is better in every single way. One thing I disliked about this game is the lack of a story. I felt like I was wondering around the whole intire game absent mindedly. That is a minor complaint and doesn't ruin the expirience. You WILL find yourself wondering what to do next and expect to go the gamefaqs. The upgrades in this game beat Fusions. The grapple beam and x-ray vision are awesome and fun to use. Another way this beats Fusion is that this game is bigger, with more areas to explore, but overall Fusion has more, better bosses and a better game expirience. This game is no dought a classic and a must play for anyone who likes platforming.
