One of the best SNES games. Was the true starting point of the Metroid series.

This game have almost everything a 2D platformer should have game. Huge world with loots of small items and upgrades to find. Distinct different areas. Loots of different enemies. Good controls, easy to learn but still not easy to master. Different boss fights where you need to use all you have learned and items you have gathered.
Re explore the same areas again when acquired new gear to find new parts to explore. For a SNES game the graphic was great as was the sound track.

The downside the game have is there are few bosses in the game.

The game was revolutionary when it game out with it's linear story yet free to explore the world in your own pace. You don't feel restricted to go to the correct place even though you actually are.

End of the line if you didn't play it on the SNES you should buy it now.
