Wow...this game is just...wow...epic win.

Ok, well I'm old enough to have owned a SNES when I was a kid but I never got this game until just recently cause I simply had no interest in it. I owned every SNES masterpieces like Zelda: ALttP, donkey kong country, etc... But NOT this game. Then, 4 years ago, I found it ( I can't remember where ) for free and I put it in my old console and started playing it just for the heck of it. The second the game started, I realized I missed a HUGE game when I was young, I know it sounds crazy, but really, the music in the opening drags you in super metroid's creepy/scary/lonely atmosphere from the start. The little story told at the start of the game caught me too, as it was a very intriguing story and it looked very very good. I became addicted to this game right after the very first mission ( epic one BTW ) where you go in a space colony that has just been attacked by ?? which is none other than the MIGHTY RIDLEY! (Yes I'm a huge fan of metroid now and I know a lot about it ). What caughtme the most about this game, is the very well done atmosphere which I have yet to see again in any metroid games. This atmosphere is mostly about desperation in the caves of an creepy planet, far far away from civilization. While playing this game you always have that stressful feeling of " what's waiting for me in the next room?..." and the music sure doesn't help as it is very mysterious and creepy. And the game is pretty hard from my point of view and frustrating at times, like every challenging games. I found the bosses to be especially though ( except for Kraid who was the easiest one of them all ). Every pieces of this game is epic and it gives you like no other games the feeling of loneliness. So that's it for my review and if you don't have this game yet, don't just stand there waisting your time reading this crap, go get it at all costs dammit!
PS: my favorite room in the whole game and the one that really added a lot to that mysterious feeling you get while playing is the gold statue room. I was like WTF is that??!
