Super metroid was a groundbreaker for platform type games. It has really blown me away with the amazing graphics and the awe inspiring music. Although there isn't anything really to complain about, there is on the other hand, a more than a handful of topics to tell. First theres the graphics. The graphics and animations had so many frames, and weren't choppy at all. These graphics had the power to show Aran's world; replicating it very good. This is just like metroid prime, whereas there is so much detail to the graphics. The x-ray thing was a great graphic mechanic that shows secret passeges. Never before have I saw such crativity. Secondly and most importantly, is the gameplay. The gameplay had to be perfect, there was a lot counting on this because of standards set by its past two games. The gameplay was easy to use and I never really pressed the wrong button on accident or anything like that. For fluid action, needs perfect controls. And they all fit in perfectly. This is needed for the Ridely fight. The sound was perfect in all aspects, including the most depressing ones, to the most lively ones. There isn't much to say, but more to hear actually. Other than ff7, this is the most interesting thing I've heard in a long time. The value of this game is priceless, hold on to it-it might be worth something in the years to come! Play it and Play it again, you'll love this game!
