If you want a cheap version of the Gamecube version, this is it!
The game plays just like the gamecube version and all the high tech gadgets and display screens look the same, although in 2D however without being able to rome in 3D enviroments the game just dosn't have Metroid Primes magic.
Boss fights are easy in this game as unlike other Metroid games of the modern age you don't have to use clever tactics or shoot in certain areas only, you just beat the... something out of the boss.
The graphics are superb and the story fairly engaging, especially considering the time, and unlike most snes games the graphics almost make the game look real... despite being 2D!
Other aspects of the game like music are impressive but hard to notice unless you pause the game, then you realise there is actually music.
As a whole this game is superb, and one of the best snes games on VC along with F Zero and Zelda.
