Take a monkey, put it in a ball and tilt the level to get him through. This title is quite the opposite of Marble Madness and proves just as frustrating with levels bordering insanity. Much more entertaining, though this certainly is not a game for the easily frustrated that have been known to throw game controllers or hurl objects at their TV, or those with high blood pressure. There are three levels of difficulty which also denote the number of levels to complete. Mini games are also a nice addition to the game for those looking for something else to do. The gameplay is a bit wonky as you're tilting the level to steer the ball instead of controlling it directly. This doesn't work as well on the GBA as I'd hope and makes the game far more frustrating than it's counterparts that have the luxury of precision analog control. Despite this, the game is still playable enough to stick through and is highly addictive. The later levels are pretty insane and I've had my fair share of losing control of the little monkey. Overall, the graphics are pleasant for the GBA's petite little screen. It would have been nice to have seen more visually appealling playing fields instead of turf checkerboar, bu at least the music isn't annoying It very much fits the style of the game - wacky in that wacky vein of crazy Japanese games. It's a fun game that pales to it's full-fledged brethren, but not a bad fix to take on the go, if you can get used to the controls.
Gameplay: The gameplay is just the kind we've come to know from SMB, but the GBA pad obviously ruins the gameplay to a poor extent. Up, down, left, right. The only direction you can go without going too far and falling o... Read Full Review
