As the third game in the Paper Mario series, Super Paper Mario (Wii), has a lot of hype to live up to.

When you think about the Paper Mario Series, you think about a fun, lovable, RPG. And this is exactly the same thing. Oh ya, and dont forget the good-cartoonish graphics: but there is a twist introduced to this game. 3-D. However the 3-D aspect isn't so great. But this isn't a horrible issue since this isn't the main aspect of the game, but it is still bad. But the good part about the graphics is the 2-D are still outstanding, bringing the overall graphics up. However, there are also times where the 3-D is better than the 2-D. Also there is a bar of how long you can be in 3-D, but I am pretty sure no one will ever die from staying in 3-D too long (10 seconds), showing that Nintendo knew it wouldn't be up to the scale of the 2-D part of the game. But when you beat Flopside's Pit of 100 Trials twice and get the Mario card, this bar goes away. There isn't much too say about the sound, because there is no voice acting, which in this type of a game is a really good thing. But sometimes that leaves too much repidity in the pretty good and pretty bad background music that is always getting stuck in your head (for good or bad reasons, but mostly good), and good sound effects when needed. But in the end, it really doesn't cause much problem n sometimes helps its own cause.
This is a repeat presentation of the previous Paper Mario's. But that is a good thing, and you can use Mario, Peach, Bowser, and Luigi. The text is comical, which is has to be since there is only text. However at times, there can be too much useless text, but not too much. This is presented as a normal Mario game being a platformer, but there is so much more inside.
The gameplay is outstanding. Like I said earlier, it is presented as a platformer, but there is also the RPG part of the game that makes it that much greater. With good controls and with the Pixels to use as power-ups help you on the go when you need it most. Also, the battling is more moving on the go, a difference from The Thousand Year-Door, making this game even more and more like a RPG. And it is always fun playing in 2-D, but sometimes playing in 3-D really isn't too bad, but its still not great.
This is the type of game that you will never want to put down, and when you are done you will be wanting more. With only 8 worlds 10-25 hours of gameplay. And with 4 characters to with at multiple times, the fun just just keeps getting added on to.
