Another robot strategy game in the series that shows improvements as it should.
To start off, it was a new game in the series of SRW where you get all new original characters and robots as well as other anime robots in the mix.
Again it's Japanese and I don't understand it even now, but it didn't stop the game from being fun to play. The animations in the game was definitely an improvement in comparison to its predecessors. But that's what games like this should be about. Try first time and found it good but flawed (SRW A) then learn from and put a bit more into the next new game (SRW R) and then try something else too.
The gameplay mechanics are the same as it was for its other GBA games. The intermission screen has a nice new addition in which you exercise you thinking caps to earn new items and extra credits before you start a new mission. But you can only earn it once you've completed the stage.
Again they have the secrets which requires a lot more brain than brawn. Also the animations a much more better looking with a lot more animations to the robot fights. The music is just as good as it older games with some good ones from Mazinger etc.
You also earn credits, have the skills and stats of your pilots and need to upgrade unit. Again no kill counts if you game over but still earn levels and money.
All in all, the game is enjoyable to say the least.
