Super Smash Bros. Brawl continues the tradition of multiplayer goodness for Nintendo!!!! This game is just plain fun!!!
The graphics look awesome. This time around, the characters look more detailed. Developers paid close attention to the wardrobe, it seems, as Mario's jean overalls look believably like jean overalls. There are also awesome particle effects. The game has a consistently fast frame rate, but there are load times albeit very short.
The inclusion of characters is a plus. New characters from the Nintendo camp are King Dedede, Meta Knight, Kid Icarus, Wario, Diddy Kong, Ike, Pokemon Trainer, Olimar, and Lucas. I'm a little ticked that Mew Two and Dr. Mario are not in the game, but I'll get over it. Also, for the first time, characters from third-party games are included: Solid Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog. They are seamlessly integrated in the Smash Bros. Universe. In the future, I'd love to see Mega Man or maybe Klonoa. In all there are 35 playable characters.
There are many modes of gameplay in Brawl: Adventure Mode, Group, Solo, Time Attack, Survival, and Wi-Fi. The developers seem to put much time and effort into making this game. Controls are spot-on, and there are many different options from which to choose: Wii Remote, Wii Remote and Nun-chuck, Classic Controller, and GameCube Controller. I prefer the GC controller because it's what I'm used to.
The sound of the game is what you'd expect. Remixed and classic music from the games of each character. Stage selection is reminiscent of each game as well. Players can also create their on stages using the application on the game. Also, there are many trophies to collect by performing various in-game tasks or finding them in-game.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is hard to put down because it's fun and has ton of replay value. I would not recommend missing out on this one.
