Everyone loves this game, critics and fans alike. I don't.

I wanted terribly to like this game. It has such incredibly positive reviews and high ratings I figured it was bound to be a classic. I know this game IS a classic for many players. But I could not force myself to like it. It's fun to play your favorite Nintendo character and weild powers unique to them, and the boards are well put together and immerse you ina what-if world of Nintendo. The novelty of this game is where the attraction ended. It is a frustrating game I never seemed to get the hang of, and I play alot of fighting games. It always felt like I couldnt control what my character was doing, and what it was doing was sheer button punching.SO this, for me personally, made for a good novelty game to break the boredom and satiate my need for a fighting game, but it certainly is NOT a good enough game for me to have went out and shelled out over 40 bucks for. It was hugely dissapointing because after a few rounds, I was over it. And out 40 bucks.
