If you liked the original game, then you probably got Melee. If you liked Melee, you just can't have enough of Brawl!
Nintendo made a splendid idea for the Final Smashes! Snake gets to shoot enemies out of the ring with his RPG, Sonic to Super Sonic, but the most awkward Final Smash of all? Luigi's. All he does is dance and make people bored until they sleep! You can do better than that, Nintendo! It fits Luigi, of course it does, but they could've made something better for him.
The move sets are basic, except for Captain Olimar. He brings the Pikmin experience when you play as him. Nearly everything he does revolves around the Pikmin, even the projectiles! *no big surprise* But, I still like it overall.
The Subspace Emissary is a great addition, and I hope to see something else like it in the future! Unlike the past "Adventure story modes," this one has the right to be called a story mode for the ENTIRE franchise. 'Nuff said.
Lastly, the Stage Creator! Here, you can choose a variety of parts, music, 3 sizes and 3 backgrounds to make the fighting stage of your dream, and hopefully, the ULTIMATE SSB STAGE EVER! There has been talk about a Character creator for the next SSB game, and fingers crossed there will be one!
Overall: Get this game if you have nothing else to do. It's the best of the series and playtime value lasts for at least a year. Well, I'm off to practice for the Tournament I entered for!
