The only game I'll ever give a perfect score.
It's been a long seven years. Seven, cruel, long years that some people started to believe that the next Super Smash Bros. wouldn't come out. Then, when it was announced, that Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Hereby after abbreviated SSBB), the endless delays made it seem that all of us would die of impatience. So, finally, on March 9, 2008, the long wait was finally over. SSBB was finally released, and many die-hard gamers and new gamers flocked to all the stores, demanding it. Was it worth the wait? Yes.
Like the old Super Smash Bros., the same principal applies. You attack your opponent and build up their damage meter, then, when they have enough damage, you use a smash attack to blast them out of the screen. Basically, SSBB has many of the same features of Melee, but mixes them in with new features, new characters, and new stages. One of the most new and most noticeable feature is the final smash, a very powerful move that each character possesses. No two final smashes are alike. This is a very good feature and a nice touch. Also, the character roster is excellent. Some famous new comers are Wario, Meta Knight, Wolf, Solid Snake, Sonic the Hedgehog, Lucario, and more.
Now for the controls. The controls are excellent, and there are four different control types. Wii remote, Wii remote and nunchuck, classic controller, or even the Gamecube controller! Also, this game features an adventure mode that is quite fun, although some of the stages aren't necessary.
Basically, this game is worth buying. I highly recommend this game.
