SUPER SMASH BROS BRAWL ! 'nuff said...
You'll have a large variety of fighters to choose from in this game, featuring 35 playable characters, and a few clone characters. But don't be alarmed, the clones aren't EXACTLY the same. Each character has a unique move set and different powers and abilities.
There are several different ways you can control your fighter. You can use the WiiMote sideways, WiiMote and Nunchuk, Classic Controller, and GameCube Controller. You can also customize the buttons to your liking. By the way, if you're a button masher, you're in luck. Button mashing does work, sometimes...
Stages in this game are in no small amount. 41 stages are available for you to brawl on, each with its own unique setting and soundtrack. There are also several stages ported over from Melee, which won't disappoint. Now, if you happen to get bored of playing on these stages (which you won't), you can get creative and try making your own with the Stage Builder.
Brawl has tons of game modes for you to enjoy. From multi player Brawl, to single player Classic, and there's even a new single player campaign mode called the Subspace Emissary. There are also some Event and Stadium modes, but I won't go into too much detail.
Subspace Emissary, the new single (or 2 player) campaign story mode. In this side scrolling adventure, you will play as the fighters of Brawl, following an interesting storyline with beautiful cut scenes sandwiched in between. It does get pretty boring and repetitive, as most of the enemies you fight are weak and mainly just annoying obstacles. There are a few boss battles, along with a huge level at the end, but no spoilers for you hahah. Although this is meant to be played alone, bringing a friend with you on the adventure is much more fun, and doesn't seem as long and boring.
Now, multi player is where Brawl really shines. Playing with friends is a blast! Invite a few buddies over, and you'll be Brawling for hours and days and maybe even weeks? Single player is pretty satisfying, but you will get bored eventually. Now, in the unlikely event that you have no friends, you can connect to Nintendo WiFi and Brawl online with random strangers. If you have friends who own Brawl, you can also add their Friend Code and fight them online. But the downside is, WiFi is an absolute lag fest, which takes a lot of the fun out of it.
Anyways, anyone who didn't get this game already. You fail...
