This is a great game where you can test your prowess against variable computers or against up to 3 other human players. There is also single-player mode where you are required to complete tasks without any other human interference. There is a very wide selection of charaters and stages to duel on, much much more than its N64 counterpart. Unlike its N64 counterpart, it has 3 adventure mdes instead of one. Charaters have been given new attacks to pummel their opponents with. The only place where it lost a point on gameplay is for the fact that you always play on a 2-D environment. It may have been better if you could play with length, width, and depth too.

Now this game has very nice graphics espescially compared to other GC games, hands down. Most of the environment is interactive. A place where this game really shows some grapics is in the trophy gallery, where figures of various Nintendo-exclusive characters and other things are shown.

the sounds are pretty detailed. the throwing of punches, the swinging of swords, and the explosion of motion-sensitive bombs can all be heard. Infact, you can even hear the footsteps of characters when they walk or run on the environment. And when two foes execute their attacks at the same time, they're cancelled out and you will get a big "ching" sound. really cool.

Definitely a great game for the GC, you should try it out if you haven't done so.
