The most played game I've ever played on the Gamecube, perhaps on any console ever.

When I first saw the first videos of Melee, I knew this would be the first game I’ll own. And that’s what I did. Super Smash Bros. Melee is one of the most engaging fighting (in a wild, crazy, comical way) ever made on any system. This was the only game I played the most than any other Gamecube game to date: It is addicting.

This game has got to have the most unlockables in a Nintendo game. Collecting trophies, new fighters, more trophies, and other neat hidden stuff (and more trophy collecting.) It would take almost a lifetime (if you’re an amateur) to find everything in this game: It is endless.

You start off with 14 characters and work your way up the ladder to find and defeat new fighters (in order to unlock them of course.) The controls are just right: Using the A and B buttons to battle, Y, X, or Up to jump (Press twice to double jump and B + Up to do an attack jump), block, grab: It is mindless gameplay.

This sequel far surpasses the N64 debut in many ways. First there are new modes and surprises. Next, the single-player has expanded: Classic mode (The mode used in the original Smash Bros), Adventure Mode, All-Star Mode (Have all 25 characters unlocked to play this), Target Test, and many more: It is well-expanded.

You will be playing this game till the day you die, or until the next Smash Bros. comes out: It is legendary.
