A great sequel to the first Smash Bros. This is a must buy!
There are a lot more characters in this game than in the original Super Smash Bros. The graphics were also improved in this game, obviously.
There are also a lot of different song remixes from other Nintendo games as well as some other tracks made for this game. The music is good in this game.
There are also many different trophies to obtain by completing many different objectives. There are now a lot more stages than in the last game as well.
Now for the main part. The gameplay is very similar to the first game, but now characters have a Side+B move and not just B, Up+B and Down+B.
There is a Classic Mode where you fight different characters and go through other objectives (Get the trophies, race to the finish, etc.). At the end of Classic Mode, you have to fight Master Hand; a giant hand who will try to stop you with a variety of different attacks. If you try on a harder difficulty and get to Master Hand quickly, you can also fight Crazy Hand, the opposite hand of Master Hand, and Master Hand at the same time.
There is also a side-scrolling Adventure Mode with enemies like Goombas and Koopas that block your way as well as normal fights with other characters. This game is fun, but there are still some downsides.
There are now many characters, and some have almost identical movesets (known as clones). Also, having to constantly go through the same battles and stages in Adventure Mode with every character to get one of their trophies can get repetitive. Still, this is a great game and I recommend you buy it along with Brawl.
