Super Smash Bros. Melee is a great party game that's even fun playing alone.

Super Smash Brothers was a big hit on the Nintendo 64, and it's one of the first games for the new Nintendo Gamecube. The old game features some fast action for up to 4 players, and you where able to control your most favorite Nintendo character. The new Super Smash Brothers Melee is much better than its prequel, and it rocks!

The graphics are good and the characters are pretty well animated, but they're beginning to get a bit dated compared to titles like Metroid Prime and Star Wars: Rogue Leader. There are even some 2D objects to pick up in the game, and they look okay at first, but when you rotate the camera you'll see that the objects turns with you, which isn't that good really. But the menus are very slick and good looking, and the stages are fine.

This game features some very old tunes wrapped up in a new paper, as for example the well known Metroid tune. There are many different sound effects and they all sound great.

The gameplay is pretty easy to come up with, but very entertaining. Nintendo characters fight in a huge chaos of sounds and colors, and suddenly the round is over, and one won! But it's fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun and fun! There is a lot to do in the single player mode too, because you can play story mode with every single character and collect over 300 trophies representing characters from recent Nintendo games. The game also features a couple of Pokemon's to help you during your fight. The game is pretty easy to get into, and new players can easily play it without wondering on how you punch or kick, cause you simply have to press A or B! The game is very entertaining, easy to get into, and there is very much to do, so this is very close to the perfect multiplayer game.

Some bad 2D objects. Can get very noisy!
