This was the game I bought with my Gamecube, and I'll never regret that. The game's gameplay is amazing, you can learn how to play this game in 5 minutes. since this was one of the first releases for the gamecube, the graphics couldn't be much better, but they won't bother you, I mean the characters are well designed and look pretty good but the stages are a little "ugly". The Sound is wonderful, all of nintendo most famous music themes (pokemon, metroid, mario, zelda, etc) are in this game, and the sound effects and voices are just perfect, matching with the action. The classic and adventure modes are pretty easy and fast to finish, the "all star mode" is a little harder, and the event part is what takes longer. It also takes a while to unlock every charecter and stage, for example, to unlock Mr. Game & Watch, you'll need 1000 battles in the vs. mode(multiplayer). Talking about that...this is what the game shine more than othes....this is just the best multiplayer for the gamecube, better then Mario Kart Double Dash!!, and that is what will keep you playing this game for so long, and that's what makes this game so fun....anyone who has a gamecube should have this game, and it's not so expensive compared to other tittles. I recommend this game to anyone who has a gamecube, specially if you like nintendo characters. Another reason to buy this game?
25 characters, 29 maps, 51 events, adventure mode, classic mode, all star mode, and in the multiplayer you have the vs mode and the special melee(that's divided into other 11 types of fighting), and there's more but i forgot. BUY NOW!!
