-Its all in the company. That phrase applies heavily on this game. I cant imagine playing this game without my friends but if i did i would see its negatives clearly. Face it the single player is not so great . My only motivation for finishing it is to get the huge amount of unlockables for multiplayer but that is its only draw. Combat is to simple with basic punches and kicks and 5 specials. the single player gets old real fast and your forced to play the same repetetive stages to unlock all the characters. Good luck with mr.game and watch.
-THe graphics are good and its orchestral themes are great.
- multiplayer is what carries this game. sure the combat is simplistic but you can always get better at it when fighting a human . unfortunantly this is greatly dragged down by the gamecubes lack of online. if your friends suck and have no personalality then your experiance will suck
- like the games intro this game is like a toy box with all the greats of nintendo history. YOU make the fun. which can be both a good and bad thing.
if you havent bought it yet wait just a little more no more than a year till brawl and we'll see what online brigns to this genre
