This is the fighting game that every Gamecube should come with.

After Super Smash Bros. on the N64, you'd think it'd be hard to trump that game. Well, Nintendo did it. Melee pretty much improves on everything from the original Smash.

In this game, Nintendo pretty much just dumped all of the Nintendo universe characters in one game and had them fight to the DEATH. It's a pretty simple game actually, and very easy to pick up and play. The amount of depth in the game is surprisingly deap. There are about twice as many items from the first Smash, and maybe two to three times as many characters.

Also, to make you feel special for the amount of time you've played this game, you can win trophies for you achievements, and review them in your spare time. It provides a little info on the Nintendo universe. They also had trophies of characters in games now yet out (such as Mr. Resetti and K.K. Slider from Animal Crossing).

In conclusion, if you have to have one fighting game for your Cube, this is it. You won't be dissapointed by this classic, and should be included in everyone's Cube library.
