A game that's never forgotten.

User Rating: 10 | Super Smash Bros. Melee GC
This game is one of the best fighting games in the face of the world. It can compete with Sony’s and Microsoft’s fighting series (mostly Microsoft) and it is the best fighting game Nintendo has ever made. There is 14 characters from familiar games, 11 mysterious characters that have to be unlocked, and almost 30 fighting arenas from past games, like the Mushroom Kingdom from Super Mario Bros. to the bustling races in Mute City. There is a tournament, in case someone and his friends want to see who the best in the group is. There is also a special melee mode for different varieties of the contest. There is a profile for each name entered also, so friends can keep some data.

In the single player section, there is the regular game. There is classic, in which you have to defeat a character to advance. In adventure, you have to get through the worlds of some characters in this game and defeat all the characters. There is another mode once you unlock every character. There are event matches, which are missions and you have to defeat an enemy, survive through the time limit, etc. There is also a stadium featuring target termination, home-run contests with the home-run bat, and melee matches with wire frames. There is also a training option if you find any areas of this game that you are weak in.

The gameplay is great with a high level of fighting action and many different modes to choose from.
The graphics are near perfect.
The sound is great featuring some favorite themes and some beefed-up versions of other favorite themes.
This game has great value for a game that has a price of $30 (or less).
I play this game whenever I have the time, and I have had it for over 3 years now.

Along with trophy-collecting and other nice features, it is a great game, and we can’t wait for the next game in the Super Smash Bros. series.
