great gameplay, good controls, and lots of nintendo swag makes this a classic

super smash bros melee is a squel to the n64 hit super smash bros. this is basicly the same game which is good for this case seeing as it's one of those "fix something that's not broken" kind of game the gameplay is the same from it's n64 counterpart. you got all your usual gang like mario, link, fox, samus, but now they added ice climbers, ness and capt. falcon which who was only able to play if you unlocked in the original game. they did a good improvement in the single player mode with a adventure mode where you go through different stages and situations and with classic nintendo feel. the game even has a trophy feature which make a whole lot of re-play value and plus more players to unlock and levels as well. when you do melee it's basicly an all out war and you use nintendo theme levels and items like my favorite the screw attack and lots of thing to make go boom....which in any game that is just sweet. good game classic if you don't got this game slap ypurself and go buy it and quit living under a rock.
