Super Smash Bros Melee should be played by every single Nintendo Fan around the world

Super Smash Bros is the 2nd installment in the series and the best one yet. If you have played the previous one on the N64 and the gameplay hasn’t changed much, some new improvements.

When you do a smash attack, you can hold the directional stick & the A button to make it stronger and launch people with less damage. But there are 2 other improvements for defense in mind. One is an air-dodge. When you are in mid-air you can press the block button and they do some sort of Ramna, Naruto-like dodge when someone will throw a pokemon ball at you. And the other improvement is a ground dodge. To execute this, you press the block button and quickly press left or right to dodge.

The problem with the one on N64 was the single-player. Now the single-player has now improved greatly. There is still the target game, but now there is a home-run contest. There is a sandbag where you will have to beat on and with the home-run bat (Duh!) and smash the bag as far as you can. But there is an adventure mode where run thru each level and achieve the goal. The cool thing is that each level is a stage from classic Nintendo games like Super Mario Bros and Super Metroid.

And to draw you to do the single-player more is the trophies. The trophies are awards that you achieve when you meet goals and each trophy is something from Nintendo's glorious history. From the obvious Mario to some Japan only games, this is a great addition to a great game.

But as much crazy-ass fun the single player stuff is, the heart is in its multiplayer. The same characters from the original are still in with more characters. There is Peach, Mewtwo, Ice Climbers and many others. Each character has their own move set instead for a few. So if you use Yoshi or Fox or Pikachu (Yeah! My boy is gonna bring the fightin with thunder & lightin!) You will sure have fun playing.

In conclusion, Super Smash Bros is a must have for and Gamecube owner and a must-play for even casual fan of Nintendo. I give SSBM a 8.9 out of 10. This is such a great game; I still play it from time to time 5 years later.
