Multiplayer madness!

User Rating: 9.2 | Super Smash Bros. N64
It's rare to find a great game that you can play with a bunch of friends over. If you have this problem, go out and get yourself a '64 and buy Super Smash Bros. Now.
Gameplay: When gamers wanted a great party game they could play that's simplistic, fast and is fun for everyone, Smash Bros was released. Super Smash Bros takes your favorite nintendo characters and throws them in a battle royale with everyone against everyone. Only here can you see Link throwing his bombs at pikachu and Mario uppercutting Captain Falcon. And who doesn't want to see Samus shooting her fully charged up blast on Luigi?
The gameplay is exactly what gamers asked for. Something that everyone could pick up and play for a few minutes or hours on end. Anyone can learn smash bros and will enjoy playing with their favorite characters and mashing the A button. Experts will enjoy the game by mastering the games simplistic yet intuitive battle system. They will find out exactly what chains will knock a person out of the course for good.
Smash Bros. can be played with up to four people and in a small course, this can get hectic. Captain Falcon can be grappling Link while Kirby jumps out of the way and Pikachu will shock them all from underneath. The true gamer will be able to watch everything and be aware of everything going on while the newbie will be able to do hit and runs from afar, taking advantage of the chaos. Everyone can play and everyone will have a chance for victory. That's where the greatness of the smash bros games comes into play.
Also, if you're by yourself, theres still tons of gameplay to enjoy in smash bros. There are characters and courses to unlock and beat the game with. There are challenges you can give yourself, and of course, you can always go up against 3 level 9 computers against you if you want an incredibly tough challenge. There isn't quite enough single player value to justify the high rarity cost but if you've even got one friend that wants to play it too (and honestly... who doesn't want to play smash bros?) it's worth it.
Graphics: The graphics are nice '64 and give a great portrayal of your favorite characters and favorite areas from the games. Current day, the graphics are pretty out-dated but nothing painful to the eye by any means. In some ways, it's still great to see your character as they once were. See Link in his classic Ocarina of Time showing!
Sounds: The musics great but some of the voice-overs can be annoying. Hearing Pikachu squeel his little "pika!" over and over again can be frustrating but nothing too detracting from the game in general.
Value: Smash bros is still considered one of the best party games even by today's standards 8 years later. That should show you right there that this is definitely one worth buying.
