Old Review is Old

Super Smash Bros. was one of those games that when you saw it, you had to play it just to beat the crap out of some Nintendo character you don't like. I've spent many hours playing this game and it has a history with me. It was this game that made me want to play some of the other games of featured characters that I would have otherwise ignored. I didn't even know who Captain Falcon was before playing Super Smash Brothers. Also, the announcer was REALLY intense....I felt like that energy was appropriate for the game. It's unfortunate that Melee and Brawl's announcers just couldn't quite cut it as well.
And since I'm being forced to write more, I guess I can talk more about some of the game's flaws, such as there would be times where slow down was horrible. And not to mention the AI being awkward at times. And Fox being the most broken character in the game. But otherwise the game was still fun to play. I'm still sort of disappointed that they didn't bring back the race to the finish/board the platforms in the later installments of the series.
