super star soldier review

i just got my first virtual console game today and i wanted a game i wasnt familiar with so i chose super star soldier for the turbografix 16 and im i mostly glad i did. the game is a space shooter in the style of raiden ships and other various baddies fly at u from all sides one hit and u die [unless u have a bubble shield] which only protects u from a few hits and there are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of enemies per stage dont worry u get 3 lives plus if u beat the stage u have a continue option.im not sure how many stages there are cuz it is HORRIBLY difficult but in a good way like geometry wars or ninja gaiden the graphics are pretty decent for a game of its age and the sheer number of enemies on the screen is amazing expecialy in the later levels to sum it up i highly recomend it if u are looking for a challenge but if u are looking for a easy simple game to relax u after hrs of zelda or for a child i suggest u look elseware SKILLED GAMERS ONLY?
