HD Remix is a great fighter, but lacks alot of extras
The overall presentation is very beautiful and I like the menus as well. They artists at Udon did a wonderful job at making the characters look vibrant and bring that anime look to the game. I have a problem with some of the sprites during the game, because even though they give it an HD make over, the characters still move as if it were a SNES title, so expect to see clipping when you're punching fast or getting hit in a weird looking frame.
The online community still sucks as the previous XBLA Street Fighter II. I wish it were easier to jump into a game, but I guess not everyone has the game yet. Hopefully things will pick up in the future. Another con about the game is the audio, I just wish most of the songs were more upbeat like the original. I know it's an HD Remix, but why remix the tracks to make them sound like "easy listening" for senior citizens, this is a fighting game Capcom, Bad Move.
It reminds me why I HATE Marvel vs Capcom 2(yeah i said it), because of the horrible music. I can't get into a game if the music is real bad. I'm forced to put on music saved on my 360, which I usually do with FPS games, but I love playing King of Fighters/Fatal Fury/Street Fighter II Turbo the best when I'm hearing the BGM of the game...
In conclusion, the game is worth it, gameplay wise; but I just wish they did more with the animation and audio department.
