Amazing, not made for fan-boys who want to pull out instant combos with 3 buttons.
The character design is captive from the very 1st time you see it (even more if you're an old school SSFII Super Nintendo Gamer like me, and was begging for a re-master updated version that keeps the core of the fights, not like that one that wnet out not so long ago, that was in 3d and stuff.. sucks)
The only problem with this game is the final boss, Seth. He really makes you see how bad you are playing, no matter if you can handle every possible combo of your main character. He's just so overpower handled by AI even in medium difficulty, and its kind of frustrating to see how his sho-ryuken hits you like 10 times in the air. I mean, wtfk. dude.? last night I did spend (no joke on this) 2 complete hours on that fight with Gouken trying to finish it. Those where 2 long, frustrating hours that makes me try to throw the game pad out of the window or through the TV. But it was kind of great when I finally beated him, bit makes me think.. if it took me this long to beat it with my 2nd main, what can I expect when trying to beat the game with, lets say, Zangief or Blanka.? dude. I'll never end this game. xD
It is in the online mode where you can really test (in a realistic manner) your skills on fights. There are some great players around to test your might off. The latency is manageable, and the rewards in level and titles and stuffs that says "you're the man' or "you still sux" are plenty.
Other than that, the game is perfect. I've recently purchased the stick game pad from amazon, im waiting for it to get to me. The experience in fighting must be absolutely different, like those days in the arcade centers. I hope it will not dissapoint me.
And yea, its kind of hard to pull out combos and stuffs, but if you want an easy game to play with, go buy MVC3 and forget this.
