Superman: Shadow of Apokolips

I had some real fun playing Superman Shadow of Apokolips and to my surprise it turned out to be a pretty solid game.I did'nt know if I should buy it or not ,but I went ahead and bought it anyway and luckily enough,unlike most Superman games it was pretty good.The presentation of this game is done really well,as the cut scenes are around forty minutes long in total and they present the game very sharply.The cut scenes tie in nicely with the game play and the story for this game is cool and this game is a excellent adaption of the animated t.v. series of Superman.The game play is fun and action packed.It can be very repetitive,as you have to fight tons of interbots,but it's still fun to play through the game.Going up against the three
supervillains Metallo,Parasite and Livewire was quite a solid challenge.I found Livewire to be the hardest to defeat.The environments in this game were awesome and the overall graphics are pretty good.Superman looked really good and so did the main characters in the game.The backgrounds were pretty dull though.Getting to save people in various different ways was fun and following along the games story line as in the cut scenes just made the overall Superman experience all the much better! I enjoyed the Luthor dam level alot and the boss fights the most.I liked playing this game so much that I played through it on all the difficulty modes,including the very hard difficulty mode that I unlocked with a cheat that I got off of the internet.Very hard mode was just that,very hard!
The sound in the game was done greatly,as in the sound effects were great and the music suited a true Superman experience.The voice overs of the t.tv series originals in this game were done perfectly and this added to the overall enjoyment of it.
The value of this game for me is good and the replay value proved to be solid,as I have finished the game about six or seven times.So long lasting fun for a huge Superman fan and avid fan of superhero games!!!
The controlls were easy to use and the man of steel moved awesomely in the game.
