If you were expecting a sequel to TA and supcom look elsewhere. If you like vibrant colours and little substance well..

I'll break my review up into sections for graphics, audio and game play just to make it easier to read.

Graphics:
They have traded in the 'semi-realistic with a sci-fi spin' art style for something that resembles a saturday morning cartoon. Personally i cant play the game for more than an hour without getting headaches from the abysmal attempts at particle effects and the massive tracts of solid colour.

Audio:
Audio is passable, the music has nowhere near the same dramatic effect as it did in the previous games but it's bearable.
Sound effects are over used and cheap, i'm fairly certain there is only one firing sound for all ground vehicles and it's what you'd expect from a bargain bin title not a AAA sequel to a masterpiece.

Game play:
Campaigns are atrocious. The voice acting in cutscenes and ingame is unbelievable and hollow and the missions bring about a whole new level of tedium that i thought an impossibility in a video game.

The tedium also carries over to the multiplayer in that there's not really any choices to be made anymore, this is due to a poorly implemented research system, i wont explain in depth but the general feeling i have is that there are choices in the research tree which are the definitive best option, if you dont follow that specific path you will always loose to somebody that does.

The most damning gameplay change however is the change of focus from strategic to tactical. Game play has been dumbed down the maps have gotten smaller and so has the unit limit. This causes you to have to focus on smaller skirmishes between forces rather than methodically carrying out an overall strategy and as such this game has lost its identity and fallen into the pit of other mediocre RTS titles which aim to appeal to the console market.
