An excellent sequel to the original Supreme Commander game. Perhaps one of the most strategic and tactical games ever.

Supreme Commander is a beautifully designed game that give someone that RTS feel. Has all the elements of a good RTS, beautifully designed units and maps, strategic zoom, large units cap, online capabilities, interesting gameplay, variety of units, includes land sea and air, replay value, and an enjoyably steep learning curve that make you want to master it. This game is for both casual gamers and super RTS gamer nerds as myself. Though imho it is more for super nerds because the resource management in this game, although fun and challenging, is brutal and sometimes frustrating. Whatever or whoever you are, no one can resist massive battle on strategic and tactical maps. Plus the show-stealers.... the EXPERIMENTAL UNITS which obliterate anything that get in their way. Another great aspect of the game is the high units caps. In a normal game units are almost unlimited which is truly a beautiful thing. Instead of worrying that you going to run out of unit space you get to focus on tactics and economy to get a nice fluid flow of units. There is a good variety of units including naval, land, and air. Each with T1, T2, and T3, all more powerful than the tech level before it (T3 being the strongest). Then come the experimentals which some call T4. Online play is very fun once you have gotten passed the level of playing AIX's (a cheating AI). Over all Forged Alliance has forever changed the way I look at RTS's, but heavily take into consideration the system requirements for a good compute is a must for maximum enjoyment.
