Capcom VS. SNK 2 for Xbox was one of my favorite fighting games ever, with its great graphics and smooth, fun gameplay. However, SNK's take on the series is a step backwards. First, the game plays great. You have many characters to pick from, like Kyo, Ryu, Ken, Cjun-Li, Mr. Karate, and MegaMan Zero (YEAH!!!! FINALLY!!!!). However, some of the Capcom characters look awkward with the new art schemes they have on their sprites, but the graphics don't help to compliment them, either. There are collision issues as well, where a leg sweep should clearly trip a person when it doesn't. Also, with only 3 modes (Arcade, Versus, Survival) and a Color Edit, there is minimal depth that keeps this game from being completely great.
