I like this game - it's fun in a way that tactical shooters should be fun. There is a planning stage where you can equip your teams, but I just always use default setups. I find it very tense and thrilling due to the fact that you are not just free to shoot everything that moves. AND you get to yell "FREEZE - POLICE!!" at the perps to see if they really want to turn towards you with that weapon...or give up and drop it. I know there are other games (Rainbow six type games?) that do the same thing, but I like the straightforward, simple playability of this game. It's also not bogged down by too much story, even though the dialog and voice acting (for the briefings, 911 calls, etc) are very well done.
