I played this game on the commodore amiga. I was looking at the screenshots from the genesis and it's world of difference. Back on the amiga this game had fantastic graphics. When other people were playing duck hunt on the Nes i had this machine that played incredible games. There was a trainer on Sword of Sodan so i could not die. I don't think i would have finished the game if it was not for that trainer, it was a very hard game. you can laugh about that, but back then videogames were realy challenging. When i play for instance prince of persia now i get an infinite number of lives. This is the case with almost every game now, but back then you had to be realy skilled to finish a game, that was also part of the fun. So anyway i chose the female hero, heroine you say (?), and hack myself a way through the city, the woods, the graveyard, till i come to this castle. Then you get to this sorcerer, and wow, the fireballs and lighting he throws out, amazing! This was in the early nineties and these graphics could easily be in a today's game, i swear. After his demise i get the sword of Sodan and show it to the gathered crowd- game over. now what? wanna play kick-off?
