Great features, great multiplayer, not enough opponents!

Combat Ops is a great game- for only $10.00 you get a fully featured multiplayer experience, complete with friend lists, clans, mic chat, text chat, custom mission and map maker, and of course, an addictive combat system that will keep you playing anywhere with Wi-Fi. The main multiplayer modes- Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Rogue Agent (like Halo's Oddball), sabotage (a bomb-setting-and-activating mode), and CTF are fun, even if the sometimes tricky/sensitive controls hamper aiming. You can also chat with other players using either the built-in PSP mic or sending messages (the latter works MUCH better), you can send friend requests, and join clans, called Cells in the game. Within Cells you can utilize a ranking system and talk to other members of your Cell. There are several pre-made official maps, but the big value of Combat Ops is the Mission Modifier. Within it, you can create your own maps, customize game modes, and upload them to the community. This can keep you occupied if you aren't in an area with Wi-Fi, and it can actually be pretty fun. The only real flaw is lack of opponents! Not many people play, as opposed to a lot on Logan's Shadow (another great game), where you can always find a good match. However, when there are opponents, it's great, and anyone with a PSP reading this should buy CO and play it! I'll see you on the servers!
