It's back after all these years. Monkey Island- quick look behind you, "A three headed monkey". If you don't understand the comment then you really need to play this game. Monkey Island is well know for it's one liners. Telltale does not fail to deliver on them in this new adventure into the quest of the might pirate Guybrush Threepwood. The game comes with the promise of five more chapters all of which should be around three to five hours each. Unless you're like me and had to replay the game a couple times to get more of the great liners out of it which are spread though out the game. I heard it from a good source that the Bird is most definitely the word. The game for the PC is priced at a low rate of $34.99. At the time of writing this the Wii version had not come out yet. Now for any of you who are new to Telltale's games need to know that upon purchase of the PC game you get the first chapter of the game, and then the following 4 months you get 4 more chapters of the game. My main disappointment with this was there were no achievements for steam gamers.

In the first chapter titled "Launch of the Screaming Narwharl," Guybrush is stuck on an island and is trying to find some way off to get back to the love of his life. I did not find the newest Monkey Island to be has hard as the older ones. Then again there's nothing wrong with that as I was quite young when I played the others. You have the normal point and click actions trying to solve puzzles that Telltale is know for. There are a number of great puzzles filled with insanely funny characters. There are maze to get lost in an epic quest starting up and a hand that keeps hitting people. What more could you want in a game?
I know I keep saying spend your money and buy this game. Then again I would not have bought the game myself if I was worried it would not deliver. Boy does Monkey Island deliver! You will find yourself laughing most of the way thought the game and quoting lines from the game with your friends, who will then look at you dumb founded until you get them to play the game. Maybe that is my whole goal with this review I want you to understand that you have to get the free vowel while it is still a vowel.
