As a long time and loyal fan of the MI series I felt right at home with this game.

I loved the MI series, even MI4 which tends to be tongue in cheek with the fans of the series. I really had high hopes for this game and the episodes to follow having played the Sam'N'Max games Tell Tale made and thoroughly enjoyed them; and I was not let down. The puzzles where to par with it's predecessors, having voice actors from previous games and the over all art design made you feel like it deserved a place in the Monkey Island library. (I was kind of upset that they didn't use the voice actors from the original talkie version of Sam'N'Max)

All in all I was very happy playing this game, it brought me back to my childhood almost. Hopefully the future episodes will do the same, I have little doubt they won't.

One can only hope to see a revival in the action/adventure/point and click/insert 4th genre name here games. Lucasarts is re-releasing many of it's classics on steam as well and a remake of the 1st Monkey Island. They also recently renewed their ownership to rights of Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle names and licenses. Maybe a Night of the Tentacle is hand? One can only dream...One came only dream.
